Firmhours keeps punches, approvals, time off, and the period in one place. You approve the days. You download the file. That is the job.

A work site is an address and a radius. A punch outside the radius is flagged. It is never blocked.
A punch can carry an activity and a customer. Switch with one tap.
Punches land on a time card. Screens show hours as 7h 56m. The file writes the same hours as 7.93.
Approvals are per day. If something is wrong, edit the day. The editor’s name stays on the record and the employee is notified. Withdraw the approval if you need to.
People request time off. You approve, deny, or cancel. Accrual, a waiting period, and carry-over are included. Holidays are observed automatically. A coverage view shows who is out.
The hours file is built from approved days. Finalize locks the period. An admin can reopen within 4 hours. Off-cycle pay is available for one person.

For firms of about two to fifty that already have a payroll provider and want hours in a file. The roster is who punches. Active people are who you pay for. Offboard someone and they stop counting that day.
When a day is edited, the employee is notified. The editor’s name stays on the record.
